[Malaysia Travel Diary ②] Finally arrived! Heading to Kuala Lumpur through the evening sky

Hello everyone! This is Hani (Laurris). After transiting through Ho Chi Minh City, I am finally heading to Malaysia, the destination of my trip!

1. Transfer in Ho Chi Minh City

The airport in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, was a bustling place with many airlines flying in and out of the window. Outside the window, I could see Cathay Pacific and the eye-catching bright red of VietJet Air. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day, but the light reflecting off the wet asphalt somehow evoked a sense of travel.

2. The second meal and the beautiful sky

We had in-flight meals again on the flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Kuala Lumpur!

• Main course: A spicy stew containing meat, carrots, and bitter melon (!).

• Side: A pleasant surprise: a whole banana and soft bread.

The bitterness of the bitter melon added a nice accent and made it very delicious.

And the view from the window was the ultimate reward. The gradation of the sunset spreading over the sea of clouds, and the moment when the rays of the setting sun dyed the wings orange, were so beautiful I wanted to paint them.

3. Arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)!

Finally, we arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)! It's truly Malaysia's leading hub airport. The spacious premises are home to a large sign for the duty-free shop "CHOCOLATE," a Burger King, a sports bar, and more, and it's very lively even late at night.

The ceiling design was also unique, and I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the modern architecture.

4. Feel the Malaysian breeze

After passing through immigration and exiting the airport, I was greeted by the huge, roofed driveway that is unique to KLIA. The muggy night air and rows of cars all around me made me realize that I had finally returned to Malaysia, my home country.
