1. Introduction: The excitement of picking up a new sketchbook
Hello! Today I'd like to introduce you to my favorite sketchbook, Ohuhu .
For artists, compatibility with paper is an important factor that influences motivation. In this article, we'll report on how the pen feels to use while drawing characters from the popular Malaysian animation series, "BoBoiBoy."

2. A comfortable drawing feel that emerges from the draft
The first thing I want you to pay attention to is this **draft stage (second image)**. Ohuhu paper has a very smooth surface, so pencils and mechanical pencils run very smoothly!
Lines are drawn smoothly without applying pressure
The paper does not easily become frayed even when erased
The contrast with the guidelines (blue lines) is clear.
Not having to deal with stress when planning the composition is a major benefit in creative work.
3. Check out the color development and layering of colored pencils!
Next, let's take a look at the coloring process (images 1 and 3).
This time I mainly used warm orange and vibrant yellow colors, and the color reproduction of colored pencils on Ohuhu sketchbooks is just amazing !
Here are the key points! Less unevenness: The paper has a fine texture, so the "white dots" typical of colored pencils are less likely to remain, and solid colors come out beautifully. Layering is fun: Even when you apply multiple layers to the shadows, the colors stay firmly in place without becoming muddy. I was able to express the texture of Boboiboy's vest and the gradation of his hair exactly as I wanted.

4. Work Introduction: Beloved "BoBoiBoy" Fan Art
These are the works I created this time.
First image: A girl with an expression that conveys emotion. The orange polka dot hat and complex hand pose are also carefully drawn.
3rd image: The familiar hero, Boboiboy! Ohuhu paper allows you to draw even the smallest details, like the lightning bolt on his hat and the zipper on his jacket, in minute detail without crushing them.
The feeling of having your very own collection of work packed into one book, along with your signature for 2026, is one of the joys of ring-bound sketchbooks.
5. Summary: Ohuhu Sketchbook is recommended for these people
After actually using it, I feel that the Ohuhu sketchbook is perfect for the following people:
Those who want to draw vivid illustrations using colored pencils or markers
Those who want to practice a lot but don't want to compromise on paper quality
Those who want to keep a record of their growth by grouping their work together in a ring
Why not try drawing your favorite characters in Ohuhu's sketchbook?
Editor's Note
The happiest moment is when I sign "Laurris ~2026~." I'm already excited to think about which character I'll summon onto this blank page next!
