This time, I'd like to write about what happened when I was in the third and fourth grades of elementary school, that is, around 2014 and 2015.
Around this time, I was being bullied by my friends at school.
Looking back now, it happened when I was in elementary school, but it was quite painful for me at the time. Since school was a place I went to almost every day, I would sometimes think, "I wonder if they'll say something to me again today."
I think it started with a little teasing or unpleasant remarks.
I thought, "Maybe I should just put up with it," so I didn't tell many people around me. But when it kept happening over and over, it eventually became really tough.
What I remember most is during recess and when we were all spending time together as a class. Everyone around me seemed to be enjoying school life normally, but I felt out of place.
This situation continued from 2014, when I was in the third grade of elementary school, to 2015, when I was in the fourth grade.
Of course, it wasn't all bad every single day. There were fun days too, and I had friends who were kind to me.
That's why, rather than saying "I hated everything about school," I think it was a more complex feeling of "there were fun things, but I was also afraid of being bullied."
It happened quite a while ago, but I still remember it.
In this blog, I'll gradually write about what happened back then, how I felt at the time, and what I think about it now in retrospect.
