The story of when I watched "BoBoiBoy Galaxy" on YouTube when I was in fifth grade.

This story takes place in 2016, when I was in the fifth grade of elementary school.

Back then, I used to watch a lot of YouTube and would randomly search for all sorts of videos. That's when I stumbled upon the Malaysian animated series, "BoBoiBoy Galaxy."

When I first saw it, I was like, "What kind of anime is this?" (laughs).

Since it's an overseas animation, it naturally has a different atmosphere from Japanese animation. However, with its space-based adventures, action, and unique characters, I became more and more interested as I watched it.

What I remember most vividly is the part where BoBoiBoy and his friends go on an adventure through space. For me as a child, the idea of "flying around space and going to all sorts of places" was incredibly exciting.

And best of all, I found this on YouTube, not on TV.

Looking back, around 2016, YouTube was a place where I could accidentally discover things I didn't know about. By watching recommended and related videos one after another, I would sometimes come across overseas animations that weren't very well known in Japan.

"BoBoiBoy Galaxy" was definitely one of those works.

I don't think I was particularly conscious of the fact that I was watching Malaysian animation at the time. It was just the novelty of discovering that there was animation like this overseas, and that's what made it interesting.

Years have passed since then, but when I watch "BoBoiBoy Galaxy," it brings back memories not only of the work itself, but also of the time I spent watching YouTube when I was in fifth grade.

The atmosphere on YouTube has changed quite a bit these days.

But sometimes, while casually searching for videos, you stumble upon an unknown work and become completely engrossed in it.

I feel like the internet had that kind of fun back then.

For me, "BoBoiBoy Galaxy" is a somewhat nostalgic work that is linked to my memories of YouTube in 2016.
