This story takes place in 2016, when I was in the fifth grade of elementary school.
Back then, I quite enjoyed watching YouTube at home. Rather than deciding "I'm going to watch this today!" like I do now, I would just click on a video that caught my eye and then watch related videos one after another.
Then one day, I stumbled upon a Malaysian animated film on YouTube called "BoBoiBoy The Movie."
At first, I think I was thinking something like, "What is BoBoiBoy?" Since it was an overseas animation, the atmosphere was a little different from the Japanese animation I had been watching up until then.
But once you actually start watching it, you'll find it surprisingly interesting!
The lively interactions between the characters, the exciting action, and BoBoiBoy's various abilities left a lasting impression, and before I knew it, I was completely engrossed in watching it.
What I remember most is being surprised to learn that there are anime like this overseas!
At the time, I rarely had the opportunity to watch Malaysian animation, so the fact that I happened to come across a work from an unfamiliar country through YouTube was a refreshing experience for me.
Looking back now, 2016 was 10 years ago. It's a little strange that I still remember a video I randomly clicked on on YouTube when I was in fifth grade.
Watching "BoBoiBoy The Movie" brings back memories not only of the film itself, but also of my elementary school days when I spent my time watching YouTube.
Works I stumbled upon online remain etched in my memory even years later.
Thinking about it now, that casual click on the video back then might have been the beginning of a little memory.
