🧡Trying out my pen display! drawing BoBoiBoy🍊

Today, I wanted to share some recent fanart I did of BoBoiBoy! I’ve been practicing a lot with my pen display (liquid tab) lately, and I thought he would be the perfect character to draw while getting the hang of it. I ended up doing two different pieces to test out some different moods and coloring techniques.

Here is the first one!

For this piece, I went with a more serious, battle-ready look. I really wanted to focus on the lighting, especially that awesome glowing effect coming from his power watch! Honestly, drawing directly on the screen of the pen display made blending those bright, glowing yellow tones so much more intuitive. I’m pretty happy with how his intense expression turned out against the moody, grayish background.

For the second drawing, I did a complete 180! I wanted to capture his classic, cheerful, and energetic personality. I went with a super dynamic action pose and a bright, warm orange and pink background to match his signature outfit. The pen display really helped me get those crisp, clean lines, especially around his jacket zipper and his iconic dino-cap.

Overall, I am having an absolute blast drawing on this setup! It makes sketching and adding fine details feel so natural.
