It's finally the 14th day of my stay in Malaysia. It's a day that has once again made me realize that the charm of this country lies in its food. Today, I'd like to share some heartwarming Malaysian flavors that I encountered in local shopping malls and old-fashioned shops.

1. The classic of classics! "Chicken Rice" at Mydin
First, for lunch, I had Hainanese Chicken Rice (Nasi Ayam) at the food court in the large supermarket "MYDIN"!
Golden jasmine rice: The rice cooked in chicken stock has an irresistible aroma that will whet your appetite.
Glossy roast chicken: The chicken is moist and tender, covered in a sweet and spicy sauce.
Gentle soup: A sip of the accompanying soup will give you a moment of relief.
This is a menu item that can be found anywhere in Malaysia, but it is eating chicken rice in an ordinary place like this that makes you feel like you are really in Malaysia.

2. A nostalgic afternoon tea time
After a tiring afternoon of walking, head to Kopitiam, a coffee shop with a retro atmosphere.
Wonton noodles: Clear soup with smooth wontons and thin noodles. The shredded chicken topping adds an accent to the dish, creating a gentle flavor that you'll never tire of.
Teh Tarik: A must-have is this Malaysian milk tea, which tastes even better when served in a traditionally designed cup.
Time passed leisurely around the warm wooden table. It was a luxurious experience, as if we were part of everyday Malaysian life.
My trip to Malaysia is almost over. I'm looking forward to discovering some delicious food next!
