Our adventure in Malaysia has finally reached its final day. The 17-day trip, which seemed both long and short, ends with a farewell to the food and the typical Malaysian scenery.

1. A&W's classic root beer float!
First, we went to A&W , a must-visit when in Malaysia. I ordered a root beer float poured into an ice-cold mug. The unique herbal aroma and the vanilla ice cream on top blended together to create a sinful taste... This drink in the Malaysian heat is the best, no matter how many times I drink it. As I munched on fries, I recalled the many sights I had seen on this trip.

2. Noodle Hopping! Assam Laksa and Tom Yum Noodles
For my final meal, I indulged in luxury and enjoyed my favorite noodle dish.
Ah Cheng Laksa (阿庄叻沙) : The Assam Laksa here has an exquisite balance of sourness and spiciness from the fish broth! The crunchy pineapple and vegetable toppings add a nice accent, making it so delicious you'll want to drink up every last drop of the soup.
Tom Yum Noodles : At another restaurant, I had a hearty Tom Yum Noodle dish. The soup was perfectly infused with the deep-fried tofu and fish balls, and I could feel the power of Malaysian spices in every bite. The Goodday chocolate milk I had with it gently soothed my spicy palate.

3. Say "See you later" to the view of Malacca at KLIA
We headed to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in time for our flight. Inside the airport, there were photo spots with the red Stadthuys (Dutch Square) clock tower, a symbol of Melaka, and colorfully decorated trishaws.
Although I wasn't able to go to Malacca this time, I felt like I could feel the atmosphere of Malaysia's historic streets just by looking at this display. I took a commemorative photo with the trademark yellow suitcase.
Summary: Over the past 17 days, I have experienced Malaysian culture, food, and the warmth of its people, and have received a lot of inspiration as a creator. I am now heading back to Japan (Tokyo) with my stomach and heart full.
Terima kasih, Malaysia! (Thank you, Malaysia!) I hope to come back with some new character ideas.
